Kodansha USA Publishing used its Anime Expo panel on Thursday to unveil a slate of new print manga releases slated for Spring 2026. Among the announced titles are Fatale Game, Phoenix, Witch Hat Atelier: Special Stories, and Historié.

Fatale Game, penned by Baan, centers on manga artist Seri Tainaka, who writes under the pseudonym Nanakusa. Despite a decade in the industry, her early success with the one-hit wonder "To Hell and Back" remains her peak. Her insecurities are amplified when she's assigned a new editor, Sumire Futami. Futami's unusual, direct approach both unnerves and intrigues Seri, especially when she declares she'd go to "hell and back" to revive Seri's career. However, Seri soon discovers Futami manages other artists, igniting a fierce competition fueled by jealousy and dangerous ambition as they vie for their editor's attention.

Further details on the other announced titles, including Osamu Tezuka's classic Phoenix and the special edition of Witch Hat Atelier: Special Stories, were also shared during the panel. The additions promise to expand Kodansha USA's print offerings for the coming year.
