Kodama Tales has revealed plans to publish five new manga titles in English, with announcements rolling out daily from Tuesday through Saturday. Among the newly licensed works is beautiful place by Jiro Matsumoto.

The manga, slated for a January 2027 release, is set in a near-future Japan grappling with the aftermath of civil war. The story follows high school students conscripted into armed "volunteer" units for peacekeeping duties. The narrative focuses on Shimon Hanazawa, an Advanced Placement student who enrolls at Seishin Girls' Academy as a trooper, a highly unusual decision. There, she is assigned to the unpredictable and unruly student Momoko Takasaka, forcing Shimon to navigate both Momoko's chaos and the realities of the battlefield.

While specific details on the other four licensed titles were not provided in this announcement, the inclusion of 'Crows' and 'Cyberblue' alongside Matsumoto's 'beautiful place' indicates a diverse slate from Kodama Tales. The publisher's daily rollout suggests a sustained effort to build anticipation for these upcoming releases.
