The action-comedy series Kill Ao is set to continue, with a second season officially announced following the broadcast of its twelfth and final episode. The production confirmation came with a special illustration from the original manga creator, Tadatoshi Fujimaki.
The first season of Kill Ao, produced by Cue, premiered on April 11 and was simulcast by Crunchyroll, offering multiple subtitle and dub options to international viewers. The anime is an adaptation of Fujimaki's manga, which ran in Weekly Shounen Jump. VIZ Media handles the English digital release of the manga.
The series follows Juuzou Oogami, a legendary hitman who finds his life drastically altered when he awakens in a teenager's body. To uncover the reason behind his transformation, he must navigate the unexpected environment of a school.
