The run of Kento Amemiya’s Kinato's Magic (Kaigeki no Kinato) has officially concluded. The series reached its final chapter in the 39th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump, which hit newsstands this Monday. To round out the print release, Shueisha confirmed that the third and fourth compiled volumes will be released simultaneously on October 2.
Amemiya debuted the fantasy series in the magazine on February 2, 2026. The narrative follows a young protagonist named Kinato who aspires to be an adventurer in a magic-filled world, despite possessing only the niche ability of seitai healing. Readers outside of Japan have been able to keep up with the story through simultaneous digital releases on Viz Media’s platforms and the MANGA Plus service.
This marks the second recent serialization for Amemiya in Weekly Shonen Jump. The artist previously serialized Shadow Eliminators (Ruirui Senki), which ran from December 2023 to April 2024 following a successful one-shot debut in Shonen Jump GIGA in 2021.
