With the arrival of the 25th volume this week, creator Sho Aimoto revealed that the series will reach its definitive conclusion in the upcoming 26th volume. This announcement brings a close to a decade-long run for the title, which first debuted in the pages of Jump SQ. in December 2016.
Aimoto confirmed the news on social media, reflecting on the series' final stretch following a brief hiatus earlier this year. After taking a break in February to address health concerns, including a bout of gastroenteritis, the author noted they are currently in recovery and preparing for further medical check-ups as they finalize the story.
Seven Seas Entertainment currently manages the English-language distribution of the manga, with their release schedule reaching the 21st volume as of June. The property remains well-regarded for its blend of supernatural mystery and character-driven drama, themes that were brought to life in the 2021 television anime adaptation.
