The fantasy light novel series Seijo Seisen -Taizai Yūsha to Omoide no Majo- is officially transitioning to a manga format. Artist Sasami Kamone shared the news on social media, confirming they will handle the visual adaptation for the series, which is slated to begin its run on the "Suiyōbi wa Mattari Dash X Comic" section of the Nico Nico Seiga website in the near future.

Written by Keishi Ayasato and featuring illustrations by Genyaky, the original novels launched in June 2025 under Shueisha’s Dash X Bunko label. The narrative centers on Tōma Kurashiki, a young man who finds himself reincarnated as a hero in a hostile new world. Rather than siding with the girl who summoned him, he chooses to protect Adel Eustophoria, a saintess currently being hunted as a witch. The duo soon discovers they are trapped in a lethal competition among thirteen saintesses, though Tōma’s unique, divine power may prove to be the ultimate wildcard in their survival.

This project adds to a prolific period for Ayasato, whose previous works like Torture Princess - Fremd Torturchen and The Bride of Demise have already established a footprint in the English market via Yen Press. Beyond this new manga, Ayasato has been active across multiple publishers, including recent collaborations with Kadokawa and Hakusensha.

With the second volume of the source material having arrived in February 2026, the manga launch follows a relatively quick production timeline. It remains to be seen how the adaptation will handle the series' dark, high-stakes premise, but the move suggests a push to broaden the reach of the franchise.
