The supernatural romantic comedy Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy is officially moving forward with a second season. The announcement arrived Sunday, timed with the broadcast of the first season's 12th and final episode. A commemorative illustration by character designer Akari Minagawa was also shared.

The anime adaptation, produced by Studio Kai, premiered in April and was streamed globally by Crunchyroll. The series adapts the manga of the same name by nonco, which began serialization in Weekly Shounen Magazine in June 2022. Kodansha is releasing the manga in Japan, with the 13th volume having shipped in April and the 14th due out in August.

Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga for English-language release, planning a 2-in-1 omnibus edition starting with the first volume on July 14, 2025. The story follows Kanan, a demon who descends to the human world to consume souls, but instead finds herself entangled in a romantic contract with her intended first victim, a human boy named Youji Kyougi. Navigating high school romance proves more challenging than any demonic duty for the millennia-old demon.
