KAMUI: He's Behind You Anime Streams July 3 on OceanVeil

The supernatural ecchi comedy KAMUI: He's Behind You is set to begin streaming on OceanVeil starting July 3 at 9:30 a.m. PDT. The television anime adaptation will also premiere on Tokyo MX on July 3 at 1:30 a.m. JST (effectively July 4), followed by a broadcast on BS11 on July 7.

The series follows Shizuka Mimizuka, an ordinary high school girl who inexplicably attracts ghosts and spirits. Her unique condition leads her to become the assistant—and bait—for the powerful psychic Kamui. Kamui, despite his handsome appearance, has a peculiar fetish for specters, leading to lewd and unconventional exorcism methods.

Tomokazu Sugita voices Kamui, with Riko Aono as Shizuka Mimizuka. The cast also includes M.A.O as Oichi, Yuka Aisaka as Kyōko, and Shiori Izawa as Inagawa. Takumi Tsukumo directs the anime at Zero-G and ZG-R, with series scripts by Motoshi Chūjō and character designs by Toshinari Yamashita.

Chihiro Endō composed the music for the series, and KOTOKO performs the ending theme song "SAY-BYE!!". The anime is produced under WWWave Corporation's Deregula anime label. The original manga by Eroki and Shinko Konoshiro debuted in March 2020.
