The development team behind Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivaton announced on Tuesday that the title's launch has been shifted to 2027. Originally slated for release this year, the delay is intended to provide the staff with additional time to deliver a more refined and satisfying gameplay experience. Alongside the announcement, a new trailer was released, highlighting the updated release window.

Designed as a survivor royale action game, the title allows for up to eight players to compete against cursed spirits. The roster includes over 20 characters from the series, each equipped with their own unique abilities and Domain Expansions. Matches incorporate randomized skills and "Rule Additions," a mechanic that mirrors the Culling Game arc from Gege Akutami’s original manga.

While the game expands the franchise into the survivor genre, the anime side of the series continues to see significant activity. The third season, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game Part 1, recently concluded its run in March after premiering on the "Super Animeism TURBO" block. With the source material having concluded its serialization in late 2024, this game represents one of the primary ways the franchise is continuing to engage its audience across consoles and PC.
