Jujutsu Kaisen has claimed the top spot on Circana BookScan's April list of the Top 20 adult graphic novels in the United States. The latest volume, #29, led the sales, underscoring the manga's significant popularity in the U.S. market.
It wasn't just the newest volume driving sales; the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise secured an impressive 11 entries within the Top 20. This broad presence includes volumes 1, 26, 28, and the prequel volume 0, demonstrating sustained reader interest across the series' run. This dominance highlights the strong demand for Gege Akutami's work among American readers.
Circana BookScan, formerly NPD BookScan, compiles its rankings from point-of-sale data across more than 16,000 U.S. retail outlets, representing approximately 85% of the trade print book market. The list specifically focuses on adult graphic novels, excluding titles aimed at children or primarily text-based works.
