This upcoming project is set to explore events preceding the events of "Jing: King of Bandits - Seventh Heaven," the 2008 OVA that saw Jing and his avian companion Kir infiltrate the inescapable prison.
The original "Jing: King of Bandits" manga, which spawned the OVA adaptation, introduced the titular character as a cunning and audacious bandit whose exploits spanned fantastical locales. The "Seventh Heaven" OVA, produced by Studio Deen, focused on Jing's quest to steal the Dream Orb from a convict named Campari within a prison that manifested dreams. This new prequel promises to shed light on the origins and earlier adventures that forged Jing's reputation as the King of Bandits.
