Tomodachi Life continued its strong performance, topping Japan's video game sales charts for the week of May 25-31, according to Famitsu. The Nintendo title sold an additional 52,483 copies, bringing its total sales to over 1.25 million units.
The rankings also saw the debut of H2 Interactive's 007 First Light, which secured the second spot with 20,690 units sold. AQUAPLUS's Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered also made an appearance, with two versions of the game charting in the top 10.
Other notable entries in the top 5 included Nintendo's Pokémon Pokopia and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. Upcoming releases like Nintendo's Mario Kart World and Experience's Demon Kill Demon Yomi 1984 also appeared on the list, indicating strong pre-release interest.
The chart reflects a mix of evergreen titles and new releases, with long-standing bestsellers like Minecraft and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continuing to hold positions among the top-selling games.
