A newly released third promotional video confirms that veteran voice actress Kujira will portray Boraqchin, the first wife of Ögedei and a pivotal figure in the Mongol Empire’s complex political landscape.
This high-profile adaptation of Tomato Soup’s acclaimed manga is helmed by director Naoko Yamada, known for her masterful work on A Silent Voice and The Heike Story. Produced by Science SARU with Abel Góngora serving as director, the series has garnered significant attention for its portrayal of Fatima, a Persian woman whose medical expertise brings her into the heart of the 13th-century Mongol court.
