A new promotional video has arrived for Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia, highlighting the anime's upcoming 'Mongolia Arc' and announcing three new voice actors. Misaki Kuno will voice Sorghaghtani, Ayaka Asai is cast as Möge, and Mayumi Shintani will portray Kirgistani. The video also introduces Boraqchin, the first wife and Empress of Ögedei.

The historical drama, adapted from Tomato Soup's manga, follows Fatima, a skilled physician from Persia who seeks to utilize her knowledge within the Mongol Empire. She finds herself under the patronage of Töregene, the sixth wife of Great Khan Ögedei, setting the stage for palace intrigue and world-altering politics. The series stars Miyu Irino as Shira, Jun Saitō as Muhammad, Akira Sekine as Shitara, Houko Kuwashima as Fatima, Ryōta Suzuki as Tolui, Kenji Nojima as Jochi, Ami Koshimizu as Töregene, Hiro Shimono as Ögedei, Daisuke Namikawa as Chagatai, and sumo wrestlers Ichirō Tamawashi as Genghis Khan and Manpei Tamashōhō as a Mongol Soldier.

Directed by Abel Góngora with Naoko Yamada serving as chief director, Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia is animated by Science SARU. Kenichi Yoshida handles character designs and animation direction, with Kanichi Katō overseeing scripts. The anime premiered on July 4th in Japan and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The opening theme is "Stella" by SEKAI NO OWARI, and Queen Bee performs the ending theme "Hoshi."

The source manga has garnered significant attention, topping the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! rankings for female readers in 2023 and receiving nominations for the Manga Taisho Awards in both 2023 and 2024. It recently won the grand prize in the Comic division of the 55th Japan Cartoonists Association Awards.
