The upcoming anime adaptation of Isekai Tensei Soudouki (Multi-Mind Mayhem) has officially entered production, with Studio Deen taking the helm for a January 2027 premiere. The project's first promotional video and key visual provide a look at the series, which adapts Ryousen Takami’s complex tale of a young boy harboring the souls of a warring-states strategist and a modern-day high schooler.
Directing the series is Hiroaki Sakurai, known for Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi, working alongside series composer Keiichirou Oochi. The character designs are being handled by Zenjirou Ukulele, with Hajime Watanabe credited for original animation character design and RYOSHI TAKAGI composing the score.
The newly announced cast includes Yukari Anzai as Seilune, Takashi Matsuyama as Oka Sanai, and Satoshi Inomata as Oka Masaharu. They are joined by Ayasa Itou as Selina Savaran and Sumire Morohoshi as Silke Randolph.
Originally serialized on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2013, the source material concluded its 14-volume run under AlphaPolis in 2019. The franchise also maintains a long-running manga adaptation by Honoji, which has been available in English via One Peace Books since 2020.
