Epic Games has expanded its crossover roster by introducing VTuber icon Ironmouse to Fortnite as part of the current Chapter 7 Season 3, "Runners." Unlike standard character skins, Ironmouse appears in-game as a collectible Sprite, providing unique gameplay abilities. Following her debut, some players reported issues with the Sprite failing to register in their collections after extraction; however, Epic Games confirmed these technical hurdles have been resolved, with retroactive grants promised for affected users.
In addition to the VTuber's arrival, the game is bolstering its Bleach presence. Following an initial collaboration in December 2025 that featured Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Orihime Inoue, the latest update brings fan-favorites Kisuke Urahara and Yoruichi Shihōin to the digital storefront on August 7.
This update follows a turbulent period for the VTuber industry, marked by Ironmouse’s high-profile departure from VShojo in July 2025. Her exit, which centered on allegations regarding withheld charitable donations intended for the Immune Deficiency Foundation, triggered a mass exodus of talent that ultimately led to the agency's dissolution. Despite the industry shifts, Ironmouse remains a prominent figure, now cementing her reach within one of gaming’s largest platforms.
