The main promotional video for the Iron Wok Jan! anime has arrived, confirming a July 5 premiere date and introducing several new cast members. The series, adapting Shinji Saijyo's cooking manga, will debut on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. JST.

Joining the previously announced cast are Masuo Amada as Nichido Otani, M.A.O as Celene Yang, Takahiro Sakurai as Kei Sawada, Taishi Murata as Tomohide Jun, and Yūsuke Kobayashi as Yuji Kawahara. Kikunosuke Toya stars as the ambitious young chef Jan Akiyama, with Ikumi Hasegawa as his rival Kiriko Gobanchō and Kōhei Amasaki as Takao Okonogi. Kenjirō Tsuda will narrate the series.

The opening theme song, titled 'Hien' (Fire Banquet), will be performed by the seven-member dance vocal group 'Genin wa Jibun ni Aru.'. The anime is being directed by Ei Aoki, known for his work on Fate/Zero and Aldnoah.Zero, at TROYCA. Makoto Uezu is handling series scripts, with character designs and chief animation direction by Masako Matsumoto. Tomoki Kikuya is composing the music.

The original Iron Wok Jan! manga, which ran from 1995 to 2000 and has spawned multiple sequels and spin-offs, follows Jan Akiyama's culinary battles. The franchise boasts over 10 million copies in circulation worldwide. The production staff also includes cuisine animation directors Atsushi Okuda and Chihiro Hanamura, action animator Ryūichi Makino, and art director Ken Naitō.
