Level 5 revealed during its "LEVEL5 VISION 2026 Craftsmanship" stream that Inazuma Eleven: Cross Game is slated for a June release on iOS and Android devices. Pre-registration for the mobile title is now open.

The upcoming free-to-play simulation game centers on team management, with players taking on the role of a coach to lead their squad. It will feature a new protagonist named Yล Shiosawa and an entirely original storyline. The development team is currently implementing final adjustments based on feedback from a recently concluded closed beta test held in Japan.

It was clarified that characters from Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, which launched in November for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam, will not transfer to Cross Game. Instead, these characters are being saved for a future sequel title.

This announcement follows a lengthy development history for the Inazuma Eleven series, with Victory Road itself experiencing multiple delays and title changes from its initial concept as Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin.
