The fantasy romance manga I'm Dating a Dark Summoner! (Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru) is set to receive a short anime adaptation that will premiere on television sometime this year. The announcement was accompanied by a new illustration from the manga's creator, Shaoh.
WWWave Corporation's Deregula anime label is handling the production for the series. The manga, which began serialization in Kadokawa's Dra Dra Sharp# online magazine in 2021, follows the unexpected romance between Amona, a demi-human dark summoner, and Roni, a righteous cleric. Despite initial expectations of conflict, their relationship quickly intensifies.
The manga's seventh compiled volume was released on March 9. WWWave Corporation also operates the ComicFesta web manga service and the AnimeFesta programming block.
