I'm Dating a Dark Summoner (Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru) has released a new teaser trailer, providing a deeper look at the production team behind the upcoming adaptation. The short-form anime series, based on Shaoh’s manga, is set to debut this October with streaming rights secured by HIDIVE.

Joining the previously announced director Seiya Miyajima are several key staff members. Fumihiko Ōtera will serve as sound director, while Yōichirō Yamamoto takes on the role of art director. The production also includes color designer Daiki Ura, director of photography Tasuku Ozu, and editor Toma Hayashima. Animation duties are being managed by Studio AtoriE, with assistance from Nyan Pollution-ω-.

The series follows the unlikely romance between Amona, a dark summoner, and Roni, a righteous cleric. Despite their opposing natures, the duo finds themselves in a sudden, passionate relationship shortly after joining forces. The project is being produced under the Deregula label, a division of WWWave Corporation, known for their work within the AnimeFesta programming block.

Fans of the original manga, which has been serialized in Kadokawa’s Dra Dra Sharp# since 2021, can expect a faithful translation of the series' core dynamic. With the main cast already locked in—featuring Rei Takano as Amona and Yūki Nishiyama as Roni—the production is moving into its final stages ahead of the fall launch.
