The Deregula anime label has unveiled a fresh character trailer for the adaptation of Shaoh’s I'm Dating a Dark Summoner (Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru), turning the spotlight onto the character Imp. The brief promotional video gives viewers a look at the demon, with the studio promising two additional character-focused clips to follow over the coming days.
Directed by Seiya Miyajima, who is also overseeing the series scripts, the show is currently in production at studio AtoriE. The project features Takahiro Sasaki as character designer and chief animation director. The series is set to join the fall lineup with an October premiere, and international viewers can catch the show via HIDIVE.
The story centers on the unlikely romance between Amona, a dark summoner who wields demonic power, and Roni, a righteous cleric. While their opposing backgrounds suggest an immediate clash, the pair finds themselves in a far more intimate dynamic after just one day of working together. The source manga, which began serialization in 2021 via Kadokawa’s Dra Dra Sharp#, currently spans seven compiled volumes.
