The television anime adaptation of Ezogingitune's I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand has added two new voice actors to its cast. Miharu Hanai will voice Charlotte, the elder daughter of Erik, and Suzuna Kinoshita will portray Mary, the younger daughter. Toshiyuki Morikawa is already attached to voice Erik.
The series tells the story of Luck, a warrior who single-handedly holds back a demonic horde for a decade, becoming a legend in the process. Upon his victory, he finds that ten years have passed and he has reverted to a younger appearance. The anime stars Gakuto Kajiwara as Luck, with Yui Ishikawa, Mayu Sagara, and M.A.O also in the cast.
Directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe at Studio Gekkō, the anime features series scripts by Mitsutaka Hirota and character designs by Majiro. The rock-idol group MEISHOHIKOKAI will perform the ending theme song "Ari Kitari na Nichijō to Kōun na Hibi e." The anime was originally slated for an April premiere but was delayed to July 6 to ensure a higher quality final product.
The light novel series, which began in 2019, has seen significant success, with the combined manga and novel volumes reaching over 4.45 million copies in circulation. The manga adaptation is being released in English by Square Enix and Comikey.
