The television anime adaptation of I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand has expanded its cast, with veteran voice actress Ami Koshimizu stepping into the role of Lefy. As the healer for the protagonist’s former adventuring party, Lefy’s arrival serves as a pivotal moment in the show's narrative, with the character making her first appearance in the eighth episode.
The series, which adapts the light novel by Ezogingitune and illustrator DeeCHA, centers on Luck, a sorcerer who spent a decade holding off demonic hordes to ensure his allies could escape. Having emerged from the conflict as a legendary veteran, Luck now faces the surreal challenge of navigating a world that has moved on without him, all while dealing with the unexpected side effect of his body regressing to a teenage state.
Studio Gekkō is handling the animation production under the direction of Hiroyuki Kanbe, with series scripts penned by Mitsutaka Hirota. The production features character designs by Majiro, who also serves as chief animation director. The series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, following a broadcast run that began in early July across various Japanese networks including Tokyo MX and BS11.
With over 4.45 million copies of the light novel and manga adaptations in circulation, the franchise has cultivated a significant following since the web novel's inception in 2018. The anime's production, supported by GREE Entertainment, rounds out a massive cast that includes Gakuto Kajiwara as Luck, alongside Yui Ishikawa and Toshiyuki Morikawa.
