The production team for I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10-nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita.) confirmed this week that voice actor Chō has joined the cast. He provides the voice for Gerberga, a chicken character held in divine regard by Luccira’s family. The character appeared on screen during the show’s third episode, which premiered this past Monday.

This fantasy adventure follows the journey of Luck, a sorcerer who spent a grueling decade single-handedly holding back a demonic army to ensure his companions' survival. While he emerged victorious, the toll of the conflict left him physically regressed to his teenage years, forcing him to navigate a world that views him as both a legendary veteran and a total stranger. The anime adaptation, produced by GREE Entertainment and animated by Studio Gekkō, serves as a high-profile expansion of the franchise, which includes a popular manga adaptation from Square Enix.

The series, which features an opening theme by sajou no hana, is currently available for international viewers via Crunchyroll. With a sprawling cast that includes Gakuto Kajiwara as Luck and Yui Ishikawa as Celliss Morton, the production has been airing on Japanese television since early July following a brief delay intended to polish the final product.
