The upcoming second season of The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World has expanded its cast list, confirming two new additions ahead of its October 9 premiere. Kazuyuki Okitsu, known for his work in Hidarikiki no Eren, will voice the character Marius Bassett, while Shiki Aoki, recognized for her role in Helck, is set to portray Maria Bradley.
The production, which shifts to studio Zero-G for its sophomore outing, will be helmed by director Masahiro Takata. Takata is also overseeing series composition and sound direction, working from scripts developed alongside Tomoko Shinozuka and Takahito Oonishi. Character designs are being handled by Mariko Kawamoto, with a musical score composed by the duo of Tatsuhiko Saiki and Natsumi Tabuchi.
While the series maintains its roots in the light novel by Nana Mikoshiba, the anime adaptation has seen a mixed reception across platforms. Our database shows an AniList average of 63/100 as of March 2026, with Kitsu users rating the first season at 64/100. The franchise, which explores themes of class struggle and magic within a school setting, continues to be available to international viewers via Crunchyroll.
