MBS has released a new promotional video for the live-action adaptation of Tamifull’s acclaimed manga How Do We Relationship? (Tsukiatte Agete mo Ii ka na). The trailer offers a first listen to the series' opening theme song, "Kyakuhon" (Script), performed by the band Pilaf Alien.

The series, which explores the complex romantic progression between college students Miwa Inuzuka and Saeko Sawatari, is slated to begin its broadcast run on September 10. The production team has placed a heavy emphasis on authentic representation, crediting Momoko Nishiyama as an intimacy coordinator and Yuri Igarashi for LGBTQ supervision to handle the source material's sensitive themes with care.

Directing duties for the project are split between Kana Yamada—who is helming episodes 1, 2, 3, 6, and 8—and Sunhye Hong, who is directing episodes 4, 5, and 7. Scriptwriting is handled by Miki Matsugasako, with an original score composed by Tomohide Harada. The cast is anchored by Sakurako Konishi as the shy Miwa and Riho Sayashi as the outgoing Saeko, supported by a wider ensemble including Ayaka Konno, Eiku Yamashita, and Kasumi Yamaya.

This adaptation arrives following the conclusion of the original manga, which wrapped up its 14-volume run in March 2025. Fans familiar with the source material, which was published in English by Viz Media, can expect the series to cover the pragmatic yet heartfelt beginnings of Miwa and Saeko's relationship as they navigate college life and the challenges of finding love.
