Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games have pulled back the curtain on Shinobi Nexus: Senran Kagura, the latest title in the long-running action franchise. The game is slated for a 2026 release across iOS, Android, and PC via the DMM Games platform. Pre-registration has already opened for PC and iOS users, with Google Play access expected to follow shortly.
Positioned as a "hyper shinobi battle" game, the title introduces a fresh roster of characters attending a new school. The narrative is set three years after the events of the franchise's previous mobile effort, Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link, which concluded its live service in May 2025 before transitioning to an offline model. Longtime series illustrator Nan Yaegashi returns to lead character design for this new installment.
While the franchise has seen various spin-offs and crossovers—most notably the 2021 action RPG Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars—this new entry marks a return to the core series identity. The game will follow a free-to-play model supported by optional in-game microtransactions. Honey∞Parade Games, established by Marvelous in 2017, continues to oversee the development and promotion of the property as it moves into this next chapter.
