The new Fist of the North Star anime has announced three additional cast members who will voice key figures within the villainous KING organization. Chafūrin will voice Heart, Yasuhiro Mamiya will portray Dia, and Anri Katsu is set to play Club. These characters are slated to debut in the anime's upcoming third and fourth episodes, scheduled to air starting April 17.
This CG-based adaptation aims for greater fidelity to Tetsuo Hara's original post-apocalyptic martial arts manga. The story follows Kenshiro, the successor to the deadly Hokuto Shinken martial art, as he navigates a wasteland, protecting the innocent from brutal gangs and confronting rivals, including his own brother, Raoh.
Leading the cast is Shunsuke Takeuchi as Kenshiro, with Daiki Yamashita as Bat and M.A.O as Rin. Other prominent roles include Taiten Kusunoki as Raoh, Wataru Takagi as Jagi, and Saori Hayami as Yuria. The anime is directed by Hiroshi Maeda at TMS Entertainment, with music composed by Yūki Hayashi. The series premiered on April 10, with worldwide streaming available on Amazon Prime Video.
