GREE Entertainment announced that a second season of the Loner Life in Another World television anime is currently in production. An announcement visual was released alongside the news.
The first season, which adapted Shouji Goji's isekai fantasy light novel, aired 12 episodes in Fall 2024. The anime was produced by Passione and Hayabusa Film and streamed internationally on HIDIVE with both subtitled and dubbed options.
The Loner Life in Another World light novel series, which began serialization on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2016, has achieved significant popularity with over 4.3 million copies in circulation. Overlap publishes the series, with booota and Saku Enomaru handling illustrations. A manga adaptation by Bibi, serialized since January 2019, is also ongoing.
Sentai Filmworks licensed the light novel for English release in February 2021, while Kaiten Books handles the English license for the manga. The source material continues to expand, with the 18th light novel volume and 26th manga volume released recently, and further volumes scheduled throughout the year.
