The television anime adaptation of Keigo Shinzou's Hirayasumi has officially introduced its main cast and a second teaser trailer. The production, which is slated for a January 2027 debut on NHK-G, centers on the laid-back life of Hiroto Ikuta, who will be voiced by Yuuma Uchida. Joining him are Mayu Takahashi as Natsumi Kobayashi and Rikako Aikawa as Hanae Wada.
Behind the scenes, Kei Suezawa is set to direct the series at Production +h, where he will also oversee series composition and scripts. The visual identity of the show is being shaped by character designer Naoyuki Asano and art director Mika Nishimura, with musical duties handled by Kaori Sawada. A new key visual accompanying the announcement highlights the series' signature relaxed atmosphere.
Keigo Shinzouβs original manga, which began serialization in Big Comic Spirits in 2021, has garnered a dedicated following for its gentle exploration of daily life. VIZ Media currently manages the English-language release, having published nine volumes as of May 2024. With the premiere window set for early 2027, the production team has significant time to refine the adaptation of this long-running series.
