HIDIVE has announced that the English dub for Farming Life in Another World 2 will be available to stream on May 1. The second season of the laid-back farming fantasy anime, which currently holds a 7.6 rating on MyAnimeList, premiered in Japan on April 6 and began streaming on HIDIVE shortly after.
The dub features a large cast, with Blake Shepard voicing protagonist Hiraku and Luci Christian as Lu. Other notable cast members include Monica Rial as Tia, Shannon Emerick as Anne, and Joe Daniels as Beezel. John Swasey is directing the dub.
Zero-G is returning to animate the series, with Ryōichi Kuraya directing and handling scripts. The original light novel series by Kinosuke Naito began serialization online in 2016 and is published in print by Kadokawa. A manga adaptation by Yasuyuki Tsurugi is also ongoing.
Farming Life in Another World 2 follows Hiraku, who is reincarnated into a fantasy world with his health and youth restored, armed with a powerful farming tool. The anime is based on the light novel series of the same name, which has a 12-episode count for its second season.
