The stage musical adaptation of Hidekaz Himaruya's Hetalia - Axis Powers manga is extending its run with a fifth new production. Titled Hetalia World☆Starts, the musical will play select dates between October 23 and November 23 across three Japanese cities: Osaka, Tokyo, and Aichi.
The production will feature returning cast members reprising their roles, including Ryōki Nagae as Italy and Yusuke Ueda as Germany. Kōtarō Yoshitani is back to direct the musical, with Yuusei Narusei returning to pen the script. A visual for the upcoming show has been revealed on the musical's official website.
The previous installment, Hetalia A Tender World, ran in June-July 2025, following the Musical Hetalia Final Live A World in the Universe which concluded in March 2018. The Hetalia franchise, which anthropomorphizes countries as characters, has also seen recent anime adaptations, including Hetalia World Stars which debuted in April 2021.
