During a panel at New York Comic Con 2026, Crunchyroll unveiled the second teaser trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation of Here U Are. The new footage highlights the series' atmosphere and showcases a musical score composed by Japanese pianist Shinya Kiyozuka, who is attached to the project's production team.
The series follows the evolving relationship between Yang Yu, a popular university upperclassman, and Huan Li, a reserved newcomer who initially struggle to find common ground. The anime is being directed by Tomoe Makino, known for her work on Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, with studio Rouseact handling the animation. The production team also includes Aiki Kawamura on series composition and Asami Hayakawa as the character designer.
While the original webtoon concluded in 2020 after a three-year run, it maintains a significant following with over 390 million views globally as of April 2026. The source material is currently available in English through Aloha Comics and the digital platform WEBTOON. With the project now in active promotion, the primary question remains the official release window for the series, which has yet to be confirmed by the studio or streaming platform.
