Hell Mode Season 2 has added Yui Horie to its voice cast as the summoned beast Maria, who is described as a French doll-like character. Additionally, the production announced that the group ChoQMay will perform the season's ending theme song, titled "Firetail".
The new cast member joins previously announced regulars Takahiro Sakurai as Helmios, Reiji Kawashima as Keel, Kiyono Yasuno as Sophialohne, Hikaru Midorikawa as Volmaar, Miyu Tomita as Meruru, Taketora as Dverg, and Shinichirō Miki as Theodojiil. The opening theme, "○✕△□", will be performed by Romanha Marshmallow.
Masato Tamagawa returns to direct the second season at Yokohama Animation Lab, with Daishiro Tanimura handling series scripts and Kei Tsushima on character designs. The production team for the music also returns.
The second season of Hell Mode is slated to premiere on July 3 at 1:00 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX, with subsequent broadcasts on MBS, BS NTV, and AT-X. The first season aired earlier this year, with streaming available on HIDIVE.
