A new sequel, "Hand Maid May: Akiramemasen," has been revealed for the Hand Maid May franchise. This continuation revisits the comedic and ecchi misadventures of Kazuya Saotome and May, his 1/6th scale cyberdoll companion, following the original 10-episode series that aired in Summer 2000.
Produced by TNK, the original anime centered on Kazuya's struggles to maintain the diminutive May while evading the persistent Cyberdyne corporation. "Akiramemasen" promises to build directly on this narrative, delving further into the unique relationship and the series' signature blend of sci-fi and harem comedy.
This sequel expands the Hand Maid universe, which also includes the spin-off "Hand Maid Mai." Specific details on "Akiramemasen's" production team and release schedule are forthcoming.
