The second promotional video has arrived for the upcoming anime adaptation of Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life (Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shite mo Kenka ga Shitai). The new trailer offers a preview of the series' musical numbers, revealing that Masayoshi Ōishi will perform the opening theme "High Maintenance Girl," while Maaya Uchida will sing the ending theme "Very Good Encounter."

In addition to her vocal contribution, Maaya Uchida has been cast as the character Meru Tsumugina. She joins a voice cast that includes Jun Fukuyama as the former demon king Ryusei Narukami and Akira Sekine as the hero Meteor Hanaori. Other cast members announced include Seena Hoshiki as Mako Satsuki, Hitomi Ueda as Marika Nagamori, Sora Tokui as Mana Kuraishi, Nene Hieda as Nemuto Takigawa, Rie Takahashi as Ayahime Takanashi, Hiromi Igarashi as Eriko Asahina, Ayasa Itō as Moe Narukami, and Yōko Hikasa as Sakura Rokudo.

The anime is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto with series composition by Yukie Sugawara. Yousuke Okuda handles character design, with animation production by LIDEN FILMS. The story follows Ryusei Narukami, a former demon king who aims to live a lazy NEET life in his new reincarnation, only to find his former heroic adversary has also been reborn as a high school girl.
