Arc System Works dropped a teaser trailer for Robo-Ky, the next downloadable character coming to Guilty Gear -Strive-, during their "ARC SYSTEM WORKS Showcase 2026" livestream. The full reveal trailer for the mechanical fighter is set to debut this weekend at EVO 2026.
Robo-Ky will be the latest addition to the game's fifth season pass. This follows the release of Jam Kuradoberi on April 9th. Two additional, unannounced characters are scheduled to join the roster in winter 2026 and spring 2027, respectively. The Blazing Pass, a new season reward system, launched in May.
Season 4, which began in July 2024, introduced Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' Lucy, the original character Unika, and returning fighters Dizzy and Venom. The release schedule for Season 4 characters included Queen Dizzy in October 2024, Venom in March 2025, Unika in May 2025, and Lucy on August 21st.
Guilty Gear -Strive- originally launched in June 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. It later expanded to Xbox platforms and PC via Game Pass in March 2023. A Nintendo Switch version arrived in January 2025. The franchise also saw the debut of the Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers television anime in April 2025, which is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
