Grow Up Show: Himawari no Circus-dan will debut on July 4, with new commercials showcasing its theme songs and announcing the premiere date. The story unfolds in late 1950s and early 1960s Japan during a period of economic growth, where circuses were a popular form of entertainment. The narrative follows the "Sunflower Circus" troupe, led by ringmaster Maria, as they navigate financial struggles while traveling across Japan. Their journey takes a turn when they encounter a circus prodigy named Mizuka Tsurumaki, portrayed by Tomoka Noda. ลka Kawasumi is played by Shiori Kurosaki.

Animation duties are handled by A-1 Pictures and its newly established label, Psyde Kick Studio, which was founded in July 2025 to foster creative freedom and explore new animation possibilities.
Streaming availability in Japan will begin on ABEMA and d Anime Store, with subsequent releases planned for other platforms.
