On Monday, Good Smile Company confirmed that an unauthorized third party accessed its online store database between October 19 and October 22. According to the company, the compromised information includes member names, gender, physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and order history. While some credit card data was accessed—specifically the card brand, expiration date, and the last four digits—the company stated that full card numbers and security codes were not included in the breach. Following the discovery of the incident on October 23, the retailer suspended its online store operations to investigate. Good Smile Company reports that it has since removed the identified vulnerability and strengthened system security. The incident has been formally reported to Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission. The company is known for manufacturing hobby merchandise, including the Nendoroid and Figma figure lines.
