To commemorate its 30th anniversary, Pokémon is expanding its lifestyle merchandise with a new partnership with Polaroid. The collection features three distinct instant camera models: the Polaroid Go Generation 3 in Pikachu and Sylveon editions, and a Poké Ball-themed Polaroid Now Generation 3 camera. Each device includes custom-designed film packs, with frames showcasing various Pokémon, including the Pikachu and Eevee evolution lines, as well as fan favorites like Gengar and Mimikyu. The release is rounded out by a suite of accessories, such as a themed camera strap, a dedicated carry case, and a photo album.
In addition to the photography gear, the franchise is updating its footwear collaboration with Crocs. The latest additions to the Classic Clog line include designs inspired by Pikachu, Gengar, and a platform version featuring Jigglypuff. These items are currently available through the official Crocs website, with pricing tiers spanning from $54.99 to $84.99 depending on the model and size.
While these collaborations highlight the franchise's ongoing retail presence, they also underscore the scale of the upcoming anniversary milestone. With the 30th anniversary approaching, it remains to be seen what other commemorative projects or media initiatives the company has planned for the milestone year.
