Kodansha has confirmed that Naruki's shojo manga, Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent Romance (Megane, Tokidoki, Yankee-kun), is receiving a television anime adaptation. Further details regarding the production, cast, and release date have not yet been disclosed.
To commemorate the announcement, the original manga creator Naruki shared a celebratory illustration. The manga, which debuted in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine in January 2021, centers on Momose, a high school student seeking a peaceful life who becomes entangled with Ichikura, a seemingly unassuming boy with glasses who was a notorious delinquent in junior high.
Seven Seas Entertainment is handling the English release of the manga. The series' 10th compiled volume was released in December 2025, with the 11th volume scheduled for May 13. The manga is also available digitally in English through Kodansha's K MANGA service.
