GKIDS has announced a slate of upcoming home video releases, including a 4K UHD Collector's Edition for the anime film adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto's one-shot manga, Look Back. This special edition is scheduled for release on September 8 as a GKIDS Store exclusive.

The Look Back anime film, which opened in Japanese theaters in June 2024, follows the developing relationship between two talented young artists, Fujino and Kyomoto, who find a shared passion through their manga creations. The film performed well at the box office, ranking second in ticket sales and first in weekend earnings during its opening weekend in Japan. GKIDS previously screened the film in North America in October 2024.

In addition to the anime film's home video release, GKIDS also confirmed that a live-action film adaptation of Look Back is planned for a 2026 theatrical debut in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Ireland. This live-action version is currently in post-production and will premiere in Japan in 2026.

During their panel at Anime Expo, GKIDS also revealed that Angel's Egg and other films will receive home video releases exclusively through the GKIDS Store. Further details on these releases are expected at a later date.
