The upcoming television anime adaptation of Kaede Nishikigi's Game Sekai Tensei "Dankatsu": Gamer wa "Dungeon Shuukatsu no Susume" wo "Hajime kara" Play suru has unveiled its primary production team and cast. A newly released teaser video and visual confirm the series is currently in development for a January 2027 debut.

Yuuto Uemura, known for his role in Vinland Saga, has been tapped to voice the protagonist, Zephyrus. The production is helmed by director Nagisa Miyazaki, with Yuji Kobayashi handling both series composition and script duties. The project is being brought to life at Studio Massket.

Nishikigi’s light novel series, which features illustrations by Shuri, has steadily gained traction since its debut on web platforms in 2021. With TO Books publishing the print version, the series has reached 16 volumes, amassing a total of 400,000 copies in circulation. The franchise also includes a manga adaptation by Hiroshi Asagi, which has been serializing on the Corona EX website since 2022.
