The upcoming anime adaptation of Gacha wo Mawashite Nakama wo Fuyasu: Saikyou no Bishoujo Gundan wo Tsukuriagero has expanded its voice cast, bringing in industry veterans Ai Kayano and Rie Kugimiya. Kayano, recognized for her work in KonoSuba, will voice the character Shisuha Aibi, while Gintama star Kugimiya is set to play Luna Varad. The series is currently slated for a January 2027 broadcast.
Directing the project are Takashi Asami at studios Zero-G and Saber Works. The production team also features series composer Deko Akao, known for Noragami, and character designer Mineo Suzuki, who also takes on the role of chief animation director. The musical score is being handled by the duo of Hiroaki Tsutsumi, widely known for his work on Jujutsu Kaisen, and George King.
Based on the light novel series by Chinkururi and illustrator Nanashina, the story originated on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2016 before being picked up for a nine-volume print run. The franchise has since expanded into a manga adaptation by Shuu Haruno, which currently spans 14 volumes and is available in English through Kaiten Books.
