The production team for the upcoming Gacha Girls Corps anime adaptation has expanded its voice cast, adding two industry veterans to the project. Ai Kayano will portray the UR-ranked priestess Shisuha Alvy, a healer with a penchant for combat volatility, while Rie Kugimiya is set to voice Luna Varedas, a high-ranking vampire who maintains a secret shut-in lifestyle.
These additions join a lead cast that includes Daisuke Sakaguchi as the mobile game-addicted protagonist Heihachi Okura, alongside Miyu Tomita and Iori Noguchi. The series follows Heihachi as he is transported to another world and must rely on his gacha-pulling expertise to summon powerful allies to survive.
The anime is being produced by Zero-G and Saber Works, with Masahiro Takada serving as chief director and Takashi Asami directing. The script is being supervised by Deko Akao, with Miori Suzuki handling character designs. The production is currently slated for a January 2027 premiere.
Originating from Chinkururi’s web novel series on Shōsetsuka ni Narō, the franchise has seen significant expansion since its 2016 debut. It also features a long-running manga adaptation by Syū Haruno, which has been serialized on Comic Ride since 2018 and is currently available in English via Kaiten Books and Omoi.
