The upcoming television anime adaptation of FX Fighter Kurumi-chan (FX Senshi Kurumi-chan) has officially locked in its premiere date. Kadokawa confirmed that the series will begin its broadcast run on October 1, starting with an AT-X airing at 9:30 p.m., followed by Tokyo MX, BS11, and Kansai TV. The announcement arrived alongside a new main promotional video that highlights the high-pressure world of foreign exchange trading.
Directed by Yūki Ogawa at studio Passione, the series follows college student Kurumi Fukuga, voiced by Aina Suzuki, as she attempts to recover a 20 million yen loss incurred by her late mother. The production staff has expanded to include assistant director Shintarō Matsushima, art director Takaya Kobayashi, and sound director Takatoshi Hamano, with Kenta Ihara overseeing the series scripts. Aina Suzuki is also confirmed to perform both the opening theme, titled "FX Senshi Kurumi-chan," and the ending theme, "$・¥・€."
Based on the manga by Demunyan and Daisuki Tansan, the story depicts the volatile and often dangerous reality of day trading. While the anime adaptation is set to debut this fall, the source material continues to grow, with the 10th compiled volume scheduled for release on September 18. Following the broadcast, the series will be available for streaming in Japan via d Anime Store.
