Fuun kara no Saikyou Otoko (The Strongest Man, Born from Misfortune) is officially heading to television with an anime adaptation slated for a 2027 premiere. Asmik Ace launched a website for the series on Tuesday, unveiling key staff members and a teaser visual.
Shigetaka Ikeda, known for his work on Future Card Buddyfight, is directing the anime. Aki Mizuki is handling series composition and scripts, while Yumiko Hara and Yuuki Osada are credited with character design. The animation will be produced by East Fish Studio. Additionally, voice actor Shouya Chiba will perform the image song titled "Luck Out."
The original light novel series by Fukufuku began serialization on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2017, with a revised version starting in November 2020. Starts Shuppan began publishing the novel in March 2022, with Zun Nakabayashi on illustrations. A manga adaptation by Nakabayashi has also been running since October 2021, with its ninth volume released on March 27. MangaPlaza licensed the manga for English digital release in December 2023.
