Retail listings have confirmed that Sae Kumanami’s From Superfan to Stepsister (Oshi ga Ani ni Narimashita) will conclude with the release of its 10th compiled volume. The final installment is scheduled to hit shelves on September 18, marking the end of the romantic comedy series.
Kumanami first introduced the story on Twitter in November 2020 before it transitioned to a formal serialization in Square Enix’s Gangan Online in July 2021. The narrative follows a young fan whose life takes a surreal turn when her mother remarries, bringing her favorite celebrity model, Noa, into her home as a new stepbrother. The series explores their evolving dynamic as the famously cold idol reveals a much softer, attentive side behind closed doors.
International readers have been able to follow the series through several digital platforms. Manga UP! Global currently handles the English publication, with additional availability through Comikey and BookWalker Global. The ninth volume was previously released in January, setting the stage for this upcoming final chapter.
