The production team behind From Overshadowed to Overpowered has announced that voice actress Sora Amamiya will join the cast in the role of Tatiana. As the older sister to Anastasia, Tatiana is slated to make her first appearance in the upcoming eighth episode, which airs on August 19.
Directed by Hisashi Ishii at EMT Squared, the anime adapts the manga illustrated by Kentarou, which itself is based on the light novel series by Arata Shiraishi. The series follows Ephtal, a man who reincarnates into a world of magic twice, determined to master the arcane arts after failing to do so in his first life. The production features series composition by Deko Akao and character designs by Hideki Furukawa.
Currently, the show is available for international audiences via Crunchyroll, which simulcasts the series alongside its Japanese broadcast on Tokyo MX, ABC TV, and other networks. The project also features a notable musical lineup, with the opening theme "+Encount" performed by FLOW and the ending theme "Dōkei" provided by TrySail.
