The production team for the Firefly Wedding television anime announced on Thursday that Kanon Amane has joined the voice cast. Amane is set to portray Yukari, a courtesan employed at the Isekichi brothel. This series, based on the manga by Oreko Tachibana, began its broadcast run on October 9 within the Noitamina programming block on Fuji TV. International viewers can access the show via Crunchyroll. The project is helmed by director Takahiro Kamei at david production, with Yūko Kakihara managing series composition and Yukiko Aikei handling character designs. The narrative follows Satoko Kirigaya, voiced by Lynn, who attempts to survive an encounter with an assassin named Shinpei, voiced by Kōki Uchiyama, by proposing marriage. In addition to the current animated series, a live-action television adaptation of the story is expected to launch in 2027.
